Curbside parking management

  • Contribution: Develop the algorithm and write the manuscript
  • Aims:Explore the bidirectional interplay between the distribution of on-street parking space and the equilibrium of traffic flow in an urban road network
  • Methodology:
    1. Designed a Bi-level optimization model to address the interaction between on-street parking space disytibution and traffic flow equilibrium
    2. Single-level reduction was applied to simplify the Bi-level structure, evolutionary Heuristics was employed to solve the reformulated single-level problem.
  • Achievement:A paper in progress

    Advanced planning and scheduling for Vitasoy

  • Contribution: Design and implement the optimization model, including parameters configuration, model implementation and solution
  • Aims:Design the beverage production schedule for \textbf{Vitasoy}, ensure production satisfy customer demand meanwhile maintaining inventory at optimal level, minimizing production line changeover costs, accommodate manufacturing with varing raw-material blend formulations, etc.
  • Methodology:
    1. Penalty method were introduced to handle soft constraints such as inventory level and material production ratio
    2. Lexicographic method were introduced to solve the multi-objective problem
